About
What is this site for?

VFinder is a free service for finding Valorant teammates. When the site was created, there was no quick way to find a teammate — you had to post in VK groups or forums.

Here you just need to post an application or filter by parameters to find a partner, add them in-game and play. Rank and stats are automatically fetched from Riot API.

No need to update your info, join groups, or register on forums — everything is done in a few clicks.

Is it free?

Yes. Creating applications, finding teammates, viewing agents, weapons and maps — completely free with no limits.

There are optional paid services for promoting your application (pinning to top, bright card style), but they don't affect core functionality.

Riot ID and authorization
What is Riot ID? How to find it?

Riot ID is your name displayed in all Riot Games. It's not your Riot account username.

Riot ID consists of two parts: a name and a tag (after #) with several digits or letters. The tag isn't shown in-game, but you can see it by hovering over a user in the friends list. Example: VFinderRu#MY3.

Where to find your Riot ID:

1. In Valorant client — click on your name in the top right corner
2. On the website account.riotgames.com → Riot ID section

More information available on Riot website.

Why sign in with Riot ID?

Authorization is optional. But signed-in users get:

Application management (delete, bump)
Automatic stats update
Dashboard
Applications and search
How to post an application?

Click "Post application" on the search page. Enter your Riot ID, select main and secondary roles, favorite agents (up to 4) and add a comment.

Rank and stats will be fetched automatically.

I found a teammate, how do I play with them?

Three simple steps:

1. Copy your partner's Riot ID — click the copy icon next to their name or the agent image.
2. Open Valorant client and click the add friend icon (bottom right).
3. Paste the Riot ID and send a friend request.

You can also contact via social media if they provided it (Discord, Telegram, Instagram).

Where does the stats come from?

Rank, KDA, win rate and match data are fetched from Riot API. Update frequency:

Regular applications — every 2 days
Pinned and Premium — every 6 hours
How long does an application last?

An application is active for up to 6 months. After that it's hidden from the feed but stays in the database. You can refresh or recreate it anytime.

About the game
What are agents?

Agent is a character in Valorant. Each agent has their own role and abilities that help in the game.

Each agent has four abilities: one signature (free each round), one ultimate and two purchasable at round start. Ultimate requires points from kills or orbs.

Abilities in Valorant help during gunfights, which are the most important part of the game.

More about agents and their abilities — on the page Agents.

What classes are in the game?

There are 4 classes: Initiator, Controller, Sentinel, Duelist.

Initiator Initiator — Initiators challenge angles by setting up their team to enter contested ground and push defenders away.
Controller Controller — Controllers are experts in slicing up dangerous territory to set their team up for success.
Sentinel Sentinel — Sentinels are defensive experts who can lock down areas and watch flanks, both on attacker and defender rounds.
Duelist Duelist — Duelists are self-sufficient fraggers who their team expects, through abilities and skills, to get high frags and seek out engagements first.
What ranks are in the game?

В Valorant 9 рангов: Железо, Бронза, Серебро, Золото, Платина, Алмаз, Расцвет, Бессмертный, Радиант.

Each rank (except Radiant) has 3 tiers (1, 2, 3). Radiant is the only top rank without tiers.

What weapons are in the game?

The game has 20 weapons:

Machine guns: Odin, Ares
Shotguns: Judge, Bucky

SMGs: Spectre, Stinger
Melee: Knife

Detailed stats and skins — on the page Weapons.

What maps are in the game?

Active pool has 21 maps:

Ascent — Two sites with an open middle area for small skirmishes. Each site can be fortified with blast doors; once activated, you'll need to destroy them or find another path to the site. No step back!
Split — High ground is key on this map. Two sites separated by a center with elevated positions accessible via ropes. Towers above each site help maintain control. Remember to look up.
Bind — Two sites. No mid. Left or right? Either path offers a direct route for attack and a one-way teleporter to flank enemies.
Icebox — Fight on an abandoned secret Arctic Kingdom base. Bomb sites protected by snow and metal. Cunning and agility are your friends. Use ziplines to stay hidden or catch enemies off guard.
Haven — Agents clash in a forgotten monastery fighting for control of three sites. More territory to capture, but defenders can push aggressively.
Breeze — Welcome to tropical paradise. Admire ancient ruins, explore sea caves, bring friends. Open areas and long-range fights await, so backup is essential. Cover your flanks.
Fracture — A secret research facility split in two by a failed radianite experiment. This unique map offers defenders various options: surprise attackers on their side or seal hatches to survive the assault.
Pearl — A two-site map set in a scenic underwater city where defenders await attackers below. No unusual mechanics on Pearl – just interesting terrain. Fight in the small mid or long side corridors.
Lotus — Hidden in India's lush forests lies a place where nature harmonizes with human structures and mechanisms. This combination amplifies solar energy. Not a modern lab – ancient ruins.
Sunset — On the outskirts of Los Angeles, among shops and restaurants, hides a secret Kingdom laboratory. Two sites connected by a central street and side alleys.
Abyss — A map without boundaries. One wrong step and you fall into the abyss. Use verticality and control space.
Corrode — An abandoned industrial complex where radianite has changed everything. Dangerous environment requires caution.
